Whilst we have tried to emphasise conservation in as many of out programs as possible, it is not always the requirement of our clientele to get involved in indepth conservation activities. Some prefer a lesser role, instead choosing to travel with us for pleasure, relaxation or just fun.
Some photographers for instance, want the ability to get close to subjects not usually available in normal tourism, so our conservation itinerary programs offer them the ability to do that, and we maintain the flexibility that our guests can concentrate fully on the photography at hand, whilst knowing that some of the cost of their tour goes directly to our conservation efforts.

Some of our tours have no direct conservation input, though they do offer an insight into the needs of the animal and the pressures on its environment. Our Basking shark program is one such example where our guests can enjoy a full week swimming with Basking Sharks, and this is organised in a way similar to a diving operator tour. We encourage discussion about conservation on our trips, and are happy to suggest ways for people to get further involved once the trip has finished.

Similarly some of our itineraries into the Amazon are non conservation orientated, if you prefer to just enjoy a tour into the Amazon. Have a browse through our country specific menus on the left, and if you are unsure as to what direct involvement there may be in any conservation activity, then please contact us via the contact page.
